Invagination as most frequent cause of intestinal obstruction young children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na naprosto specifickou diagnosu dětského věku. Invaginaci lze hodnotit jako hlavní příčinu střevní neprůchodnosti u malých dětí a je řazena mezi typické náhlé příhody břišní dětského věku. Nejvíce postihuje kojence a batolata, již méně se vyskytuje u předškoláků. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část se bude zabývat specifickou problematikou invaginace jako hlavní příčiny střevní neprůchodnosti u malých dětí. Součástí bude i způsob hodnocení bolesti a způsoby komunikace s dětmi. V praktické části této práce je hlavním cílem zjistit specifika ošetřovatelské péče u dětí s invaginací. Šetření pak bude zaměřeno dvěma směry. Na zdravotnický personál a především na rodiče či zákonné zástupce nemocných dětí. U ošetřovatelského personálu dětských oddělení bude zjišťovat znalosti o dané diagnóze z řad ošetřovatelského personálu dětských oddělení. U rodičů nebo zákonných zástupců se zaměří na zjištění informovanosti a znalosti rodičů dětských pacientů o dané diagnóze. Šetření bude realizováno na vybraných odděleních Masarykovy nemocnice v Ústí nad Labem dotazníkovou metodou. Výstupem z práce pak bude informační materiál, jež bude směřován k edukaci rodičů a do čekáren praktických lékařů.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on quite specific diagnosis of children's age. Invagination can be assessed as a major cause of intestinal obstruction in young children and is arranged among the typical acute in children. Infants and toddlers are the most affected segment, preschoolers are less affected. Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part will deal with the specific problems of invagination as a major cause of intestinal obstruction in young children. It includes a method of pain evaluation and methods of communication with children. In the practical part of this thesis the main aim is to find out the specifics of nursing care for children with invagination. Exploration part will be focused on medical staff and primarily parents and legal representatives of ill children. The work will investigate knowledge of the diagnosis among the nursing staff of children department. For parents or legal representatives the work will focus on awareness of the diagnosis and knowledge of the diagnosis among children's parents. The survey will be made by questionnaire method in selected departments of Masaryk Hospital in Usti nad Labem. The outcome of the work will be information booklet, which will be directed to parents to educate them and available in the waiting rooms of general practitioners.
