Smart Contracts - digitization as a tool for reducing bureaucracy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje fenoménu blockchain, respektive jeho funkcionalitě smart contracts (chytré smlouvy) a analyzuje jejich vliv na byrokratické prostředí. Čtenáři je nastíněna mimo jiné problematika digitalizace, nevýhoda byrokracie a podstata zmíněných pokrokových technologií. Práce zároveň obohacuje veřejnost o praktická užití blockchainu nad rámec evidence kryptoměn. Bakalářská práce nemá za cíl popsat termíny byrokracie a digitalizace detailně, nýbrž se zaměřuje na technologie blockchain a smart contract, kde pojmenovává konkrétní odvětví, která se nabízí k jejich adopci, a následně argumentuje, zda by digitalizace těchto odvětví skrze zmíněné technologie mohla vést k poklesu byrokratické zátěže.

Abstract:

Focus of this thesis is dedicated to the newest phenomenon – smart contracts as an opportunity to decrease bureaucracy. The attention is inter alia paid to the blockchain technology being a fundament for smart contracts to exist. This thesis slightly outlines the issue of digitization and bureaucracy, however it does not aim to explain these terms more than neccessary, rather names concrete fields for smart contracts adoption, and subsequently discourse, whether this adoption could diminish the bureaucratic burden.
