Abstract:
This thesis concentrates on the topics of a theatre and a meta-narrative in detective stories by Christie and Marsh, the famous Queens of Crime. It provides plenty of information about the building of a theatre, theatre personnel, various superstitions, behaviour of actors, a murder on-stage and a staged murder, a whodunit as a game or a puppet show, and several meta-narrative characters, such as Ariadne …more
