Strategic management and development of the city Teplice

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je tematicky zaměřena na strategické řízení a využívání strategických dokumentů ve veřejné správě. Cílem předkládané práce je zhodnotit strategické řízení statutárního města Teplice a navrhnout vhodné kroky, které budou řešit aktuální problémy města a povedou k jeho dalšímu rozvoji. První kapitola je věnována modernizaci veřejné správy a novým trendům v řízení organizací. Druhá kapitola pojednává o strategickém managementu ve veřejné správě a třetí navazující kapitola se věnuje významu strategického managementu ve veřejné správě. Poslední kapitola se zabývá zhodnocením strategického řízení města Teplice, součástí je navržení vhodných změn k dalšímu rozvoji města. V samotném závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny a shrnuty získané poznatky věnované problematice strategického managementu v Teplicích.

Abstract:

This master thesis is thematically focused on strategic management and utilization of strategic documentation in public administration. The aim of presented thesis is to evaluate the strategic management of the city of Teplice and to propose the appropriate steps for solving actual problems of the city that will help in future development of the city. The first chapter focuses on modernisation of the public administration and new trends in organisation management. The second part deals with strategic management in public administration and is followed by the third chapter focused on the importance of strategic management in public administration. The final chapter evaluates strategic management of the city of Teplice including proposals for the appropriate changes in future development of the city. In a very last part of the thesis there is evaluation and summarisation of acquired knowledge dealing with the problematic of the strategic management in Teplice.
