Textile materials and techniques in art education at the primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi využití textilních materiálů a technik na 1. stupni ZŠ. V popředí zájmu jsou přírodní textilní materiály, především vlna, a tradiční textilní techniky. Cílem práce je sestavit soubor metodických listů využívajících převážně přírodní materiály a tradiční techniky zpracování textilu. Metodické listy poslouží jako inspirace pro zařazování těchto materiálů a technik do výuky výtvarné výchovy. Práce obsahuje tři části. Teoretická část se zabývá historií, tříděním a využitím textilních materiálů a technik ve výuce výtvarné výchovy. Je zde uvedena literatura zabývající se zpracováním vlny a textilu. Empirická část nám ukazuje současný stav využití textilních materiálů a technik ve výuce na vybraných školách. Třetí část je praktická. Praktická část poskytuje soubor metodických listů pro učitele. V námětech je uvedené textilní zpracování vlny a příze. Náměty jsou vhodné k realizaci jednotek výtvarné výchovy na 1. stupni.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the possibilities of using textile materials and techniques on primary school. The main interests are natural textile materials, especially wool, and traditional textile techniques. The aim is to compile a set of methodological sheets using mostly natural materials and traditional techniques of textile processing. Methodological sheets can be use as the inspiration for the incorporation of these materials and techniques in Visual Art Education. The thesis contains three parts. The theoretical part deals with history, classification and use of textile materials and techniques in visual art education. In the thesis there is the literature dealing with the processing of wool and textiles. The empirical part shows the contemporary status of the use of textile materials and techniques in teaching at schools. The third part is a practical one. The practical part provides a set of methodological sheets for teachers. In the topics there is processing of wool and yarn. The inspirations are suitable for the realization in Visual Art´s lessons on primary school.
