Learning Styles of Pupils with Specific Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Učební styly žáků se specifickými poruchami učení a chování je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je nastíněna teorie specifických poruch učení a chování, teorie učení podle různých autorů a teorie učebních stylů a příbuzných pojmů. V empirické části jsou představeny výsledky výzkumu, který byl zaměřen na zjištění rozdílů ve stylech učení žáků 2. stupně ZŠ s poruchami učení nebo chování a žáky bez těchto poruch. Výzkum se dále věnuje zachycení mezipohlavních rozdílů ve stylech učení, vztahu mezi věkem a styly učení a také vztahu mezi jednotlivými styly učení a spokojeností žáka.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of Learning Styles of Pupils with Specific Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders. The first part provides theoretical background for the research. It deals with theories of learning disabilities and behavior disorders and explains key terms in the theory of learning styles and related terms. The research focuses on mapping the differences in learning styles of pupils of secondary school with learning disability or behavior disorder and pupils without any of these disorders. Besides, the research focuses on differences between boys and girls, the relationship between learning styles and age and between learning style and pupil’s satisfaction with their own learning style.
