Empirické důkazy o tvorbě a analýze portfolia

Abstract:

V současné době se míra světové inflace pohybuje kolem 3,6%. Mnoho lidí peníze raději uchová, než aby svůj kapitál investovali a tím i znehodnotili hodnotu peněz. Nejodvážnější jednotlivci hledají vyšší výnosy na jiných místech jako například burzy cenných papírů.Diplomová práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí- teoretické a praktické. Cílem teoretické části je odhalit relevantní informace o teorii portfolia a vybudovat pevný základ pro praktickou část práce.Cílem praktické části je získání empirických důkazů získaných znalostí o investování a následné implementace. Požadovaným výsledkem je portfolio, které maximalizuje poměr návratnosti a rizika, nabízí vyšší návratnost než světová míra inflace a překonává skutečnou výkonnost indexu S&P 500. Autor vybírá 20 finančních aktiv pomocí fundamentální analýzy, tvoří dvě portfolia a určuje optimální váhu každé akcie. Potom je výkon obou kombinací vyhodnocen samostatně, proti sobě, a proti indexu S&P 500.

Abstract:

Nowadays the rate of world inflation fluctuates around 3.6%. Many people prefer to possess money they saved rather than to invest their capital diminishing the value of money. The bravest individuals are seeking higher returns in other places as stock exchanges.The master thesis consists of two main parts which are theoretical and practical. The goal of the theoretical part is to reveal relevant information on portfolio theory and to build a strong framework for the practical part of the workThe practical part aims are to gain empirical evidences of gained knowledge on investing and its further implementation. The desired outcome is a portfolio that maximizes the return-risk ratio, offers a higher return than the world rate of inflation, and outperforms the real performance of the S&P 500 index. The author selects 20 financial assets using fundamental analysis, forms two portfolios, and determines the optimal weight of each stock. Then the performance of both combinations is evaluated separately, against each other, against the S&P 500 index.
