Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá Společnou zahraniční a bezpečnostní politikou Evropské unie, je zde zohledněn historický vývoj evropské spolupráce v zahraničních věcech a vývoj Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky od Maastrichtské smlouvy jako jejího druhého pilíře. Zaměřuje se na konkrétní spolupráci a fungování druhého pilíře, jeho institucionální zajištění, vytváření Společné bezpečnostní a obranné politiky, či boj proti terorismu. Pozornost je zde věnována i České republice, jejímu zapojení do struktur SZBP a odrazu priorit zahraničně-bezpečnostní politiky Evropské unie v Bezpečnostní strategii České republiky. Poslední kapitola je věnována zhodnocení čtyř hlavních budoucích výzev, před kterými SZBP stojí. Celá práce by tak měla zhodnotit úspěšnost Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky a nabídnout na toto téma ucelenější pohled.

Abstract:

This work deals with the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union, there is a historical account of the development of European cooperation in foreign affairs and the development of the common foreign and security policy since the Maastricht Treaty as its second pillar. It focuses on practical cooperation and the functioning of the second pillar, the institutional arrangements, the creation of the Common Security and Defence Policy, or the fight against terrorism. Attention is also paid to the Czech Republic, its involvement in the CFSP structures and reflecting the priorities of foreign and security policy of the European Union in the Security Strategy of the Czech Republic. The last chapter is devoted to evaluation of the four major future challenges facing the CFSP stands. The entire work should thus assess the success of the common foreign and security policy and to offer a more comprehensive view of the subject.
