Textile Jewel

Abstract:

Bakalářskou práci tvoří dvě části – praktická a teoretická. V první části se zabývám textilním šperkem z historického hlediska. Zaměřila jsem se na 20. století a pokusila se zmapovat, jak se textilní šperk v průběhu let vyvíjel. Vývoj ukazuji na příkladech konkrétních umělců a jejich děl, ale také v části zabývající se tradicí rukodělných textilních technik v Českých zemích. Většina výtvarníků si pro textilní šperk volí techniku paličkování, proto jsem se rozhodla také podrobně věnovat krajkářství a odbornému školství. Druhou část práce tvoří dokumentace mé vlastní tvorby textilního šperku. Navrhla jsem soubor paličkovaných náhrdelníků a náušnic. Na příkladu své vlastní tvorby jsem chtěla ukázat, že paličkování se dá i nyní dobře využít k realizaci textilního šperku, ačkoliv dnešní doba není nakloněná tradičním řemeslům.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part deals with textile jewellery from a historical perspective. I focused on 20th century and tried to map out how the textile jewellery developed over the years. I shows the development on examples of particular artists and their works but also in the section dealing with traditional handicrafts and textile techniques in the Czech lands. Most of the artists choose bobbin lace technique for the textile jewellery so I decided to deal with lace and professional education in detail as well. The second part of my bachelor thesis is a documentation of my own production of textile jewellery. I designed a set of bobbin necklaces and earrings. I wanted to show on examples of my own work that the bobbin lace can be used well for realization of textile jewellery even nowadays although the time is not inclined to traditional crafts.
