Possibilities of optimization of photovoltaic power plants

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Možnosti optimalizace fotovoltaických elektráren“ je prozkoumání vlivu vybraných faktorů na provoz fotovoltaických elektráren. Teoretická část se věnuje sluneční energii a jejímu využití a fotovoltaice z pohledu podmínek, vývoje, výhod i nevýhod, technologií a také z pohledu zastoupení mezi ostatními zdroji elektrické energie. Tato práce také nastiňuje legislativní podmínky v České republice a poukazuje na vybrané problémy instalovaných fotovoltaických elektráren. V praktické části se je vyhodnocen vliv znečištění na provoz fotovoltaické elektrárny v Zaječí a dále jsou také shrnuty výsledky měření provedeného na fotovoltaické elektrárně na Pedagogické fakultě Masarykovy univerzity. Při těchto měřeních byly simulovány situace, při kterých dochází k zastínění fotovoltaického panelu znečištěním. Dále bylo provedeno monitorování termokamerou a srovnávání výkonů dvou typů fotovoltaických panelů v závislosti na teplotě a intenzitě ozáření.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis "Possibilities of optimization of photovoltaic power plants" is to explore the influence of selected factors on the operation of photovoltaic power plants. A theoretical part deals with solar energy and its exploration and photovoltaics from in terms of conditions, development, advantages and disadvantages, technologies and also in terms of its share within other renewables. This paper also captures legislative environment in the Czech Republic and points at selected issues of the installed photovoltaic power plants. In a practical part there is an assessment of the effects of pollution on function of the photovoltaic power plant Zaječí and there are also results of the measurement conducted in photovoltaic power plant at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Masaryk University. During these measurements situations simulating shading of the photovoltaic panel by pollution took place. Further there was a thermal imager monitoring and comparison of the power of two types of photovoltaic panels depending on temperature and irradiation intensity.
