Financial derivatives - their pricing and applications in the corporate finance

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřena na finanční deriváty, jejich charakteristiku a základní modely jejich oceňování. Důraz je kladen především na charakteristiku a oceňování opčních termínových operací. V teoretické části jsou definovány finanční deriváty, jejich vývoj a klasifikace. Je provedeno rozčlenění derivátů na pevné a opční termínové operace, které je důležité pro určení způsobu ocenění. Praktická část je věnována opčním termínovým operacím, především základním modelům jejich oceňování, a možnostem využití finančních derivátů v podnikových financích.

Abstract:

The submitted work is focused on financial derivatives, their characteristics and basic models of their valuation. The focus is primarily on the characteristics and the valuation of futures options operations. In the theoretical part, financial derivatives are defined including, their evolution and classification. A breakdown of derivatives into solid futures and options is carried out, which is important in determining the method of their valuation. The practical part is devoted to futures options operations, particularly their valuation models, and the use of derivatives in corporate finance.
