Project to Increase Satisfaction with the Quality of Services in Selected Health Care Facility

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá spokojeností pacientek s kvalitou poskytovaných služeb v brněnské porodnici na Obilním trhu a v areálu Fakultní nemocnice Brno - Bohunice. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část, přičemž teoretickou sekci tvoří šest kapitol, které popisují zdravotnictví České republiky, druhy zdravotní péče, kvalitu služeb, její hodnocení a také systémy, které kvalitu služeb ve zdravotnictví zajišťují. Praktická část je tvořena analytickou a projektovou částí. V analytické sekci je představena Fakultní nemocnice Brno - porodnice na Obilním trhu a porodnice v areálu Bohunice. Jejím obsahem je taktéž analýza spokojenosti pacientek s kvalitou služeb v obou porodnicích provedena na bázi dotazníkového šetření a pomocí chí-kvadrát a Fischerova testu jsou ověřeny stanovené hypotézy. U zjištěných nedostatků byly navrženy strategické cíle a doporučení do praxe.

Abstract:

The Dissertation deals with the satisfaction of patients with the quality of services provided in the Obilní trg maternity hospital in Brno and in the premises of the University Hospital Brno - Bohunice. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is divided into six chapters, which describe the health care system of the Czech Republic, types of health care, quality of services, its evaluation and systems that ensure the quality of services in health care. The practical part is divided into an analytical and a project part. In the analytical part the University Hospital Brno - the Obilní trg maternity hospital and the maternity hospital in the Bohunice area are presented. At the same time, it contains an analysis of patient satisfaction with the quality of services in both maternity hospitals from a questionnaire survey and using chi-square test and Fisher's test, the established hypotheses were verified and for the identified shortcomings, strategic objectives and recommendations for practice were proposed.
