An analysis of selected Instagram accounts dealing with the Czech language and characterization of their followers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá profily zaměřenými na výuku českého jazyka na sociální síti Instagram a charakteristikou adresátů těchto účtů. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první části práce jsou na základě předem stanovených kritérií analyzovány nejznámější účty tohoto typu: Červená propiska, Běžící češtinář, Češtinářské špeky, Čeština „na pohodu“, Jazykovědma a Krále Klacka. Analýza se zaměřuje i na samotné příspěvky zveřejněné na účtech v první polovině roku 2022. Na základě výsledků je poté stanoveno, jaké účty a jakým způsobem je možné je využívat při výuce češtiny na základních a středních školách. Ve druhé části práce je na základě dotazníkového šetření představena základní charakteristika adresátů, kteří sledují instagramové účty zabývající se češtinou. Dále jsou prezentovány názory respondentů na to, zda jsou účty vzdělávací, nebo zábavné a zda znalosti získané na těchto účtech lze využít i v praxi. Cílem práce je představit nejznámější vzdělávací účty zaměřené na český jazyk na Instagramu a na základě analýzy doporučit jejich možné využití ve výuce. Dále má práce za cíl provést charakteristiku adresátů těchto typů účtů a ověřit názory respondentů na obsah účtů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with educational profiles focused on teaching Czech language on the social network Instagram and the characteristics of the addressees of these accounts. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part of the thesis, the most famous accounts of this type are analysed on the basis of predetermined criteria: Červená propiska, Běžící češtinář, Češtinářské špeky, Čeština „na pohodu“, Jazykovědma a Krále Klacka. The analysis also focuses on the actual posts published on the accounts in the first half of 2022. Based on the results, it is then determined which accounts and how they can be used in teaching Czech in primary and secondary schools. In the second part of the thesis, the basic characteristics of the addressees who follow Czech-language Instagram accounts are presented on the basis of a questionnaire survey. Furthermore, the respondents' opinions on whether the accounts are educational or entertaining and whether the knowledge gained on these accounts can be used in practice are presented. The aim of the thesis is to present the most famous educational accounts focusing on the Czech language on Instagram and based on the analysis, to recommend their possible use in teaching. Furthermore, the thesis aims to characterize the addressees of these types of accounts and to verify the respondents' opinions on the content of the accounts.
