The problems of discipline in writing of Petr Chelčický

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice kázně v díle Petra Chelčického. Konkrétně na svátosti pokání, manželství a stavu kněžském se snažím ukázat, co pro Chelčického kázeň znamená. Práce je koncipována do pěti témat. V první se zaobírám Chelčického životem a jeho spisy a traktáty. Druhá část je věnována pojmu kázeň z etymologického hlediska a z pohledu Petra Chelčického. V další kapitole popisuji vývoj kázání jako literárního žánru a také vývoj kazatelství v českých zemích. Čtvrtá až šestá kapitola je již věnována vlastnímu náhledu Petra Chelčického na kázeň a to již na konkrétních případech. Celá práce je postavená na Chelčického nejvýznamnějších dílech, Postile, Sieti viry pravé, O boji duchovním.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis looks into problems of discipline in the work of Petr Chelčický. Specifically, the sacrament of penance, marital status and the status of priest are the instruments for representation of Chelčický´s koncept of discipline. The thesis has been dividend into five theme parts. In the first one I treat Chelčický´s life and his writings and tracts. In the second part I observe the koncept of discipline by the etymological point of view and from the perspective of Petr Chelčický. The next charter describes the development of sermonizing as a literky genre and the development of preaching in Czech lands. The four to sixth charter are devoted to Chelčický´s own preview od discipline using the concrete examples. The whole work has been based on the most important treatises by Chečický : Postile, The Net of True Faith, On the Spiritual Battle.
