The History of Physical Education and Sport in Křemže basin

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o historii tělesné výchovy a sportu v Křemežské kotlině. Především pak o vývoji jednotlivých tělovýchovných spolků a průběhu jejich činnosti od počátků až do současnosti. Práce je rozdělena do dílčích období podle významných milníků historického vývoje naší země. Práce se věnuje všem významným odvětvím sportu v Křemežské kotlině. Sportovní oddíly jsou v prvních dvou kapitolách chronologicky řazeny do jednotlivých období dle jejich vzniku. Druhé dvě kapitoly řadí jednotlivá odvětví podle jejich významu v dané oblasti. První část mapuje počátek organizované sportovní činnosti na území Křemežské kotliny z dochovaných materiálů a je datována do roku 1918, tedy do konce první světové války. Další částí jsou léta meziválečná, až po konec druhé světové války. Třetí část začíná v roce 1945 a končí revolučním rokem 1989. Poslední, tedy čtvrtá část, se věnuje nejnovějším sportovním dějinám od roku 1989 po současnost. Nejstarší informace byly čerpány z dochovaných kronik, archivních materiálů jednotlivých sportovních oddílů, literatury a z dobových periodik. Informace ve třetí a čtvrté části jsou doplněny zajímavostmi z rozhovorů s pamětníky o zakládání tělovýchovných oddílů a některých sportovních událostech.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is concerned with the history of physical education and sport in the Křemežská kotlina. Especially about the development of individual sports associations and the course of their activities from the beginning to the present. This thesis is divided into periods in accordance with important milestones in the development of our country's history. This thesis deals with all branches of sport in the Křemežská kotlina. In the first and second parts, sections are chronologically arranged into individual periods according to their creation date. In the third and fourth parts rank the individual sectors according to their popularity in the given area. The first part describes the beginning of organized sports activities in the Křemežská kotlina from preserved materials and is dated to the end of the First World War. The second part concerns the interwar years, between the First and Second World Wars. The third part begins with the end of the Second World War and concludes with the revolutionary year of 1989. The last fourth part concerns the latest sport history from 1989 to the present. The oldest information was drawn from the preserved chronicles, archival material of individual sports clubs, literature and periodicals. The information in the third and fourth part is supplemented by interviews with witnesses about the establishment of sports clubs and some sporting events.
