The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between the term spread and the economic cycle for different economies. For this purpose, three time series were selected, which are the most suitable for the study. Cieľom tejto práce je preskúmať vzťah medzi rozdielom úrokových sadzieb a hospodárskeho cyklu pre rôzne ekonomiky. K tomuto účelu boli vybrané tri časové rády, ktoré sú pre skúmanie najvhodnejšie. Ďalej bolo vybraných desať krajín, ktoré boli rozdelené na päť rozvinutých a päť rozvíjajúcich sa podľa HDP na osobu. Práca je rozdelená na štyri časti.
