The usefulness of the Metropolitan Police in Rožnov Radhostem from the perspective of a citizen

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se autorka pokusila zjistit, jak občané města Rožnova pod Radhoštěm vnímají prospěšnost práce strážníků obecní policie. V teoretické části věnovala prostor charakteristice obecní policie, popsala povinnosti a oprávnění strážníků obecní policie a zaměřila se na preventivní působení a tím i zajišťování bezpečnosti a veřejného pořádku v konkrétním městě. Stanovila si hypotézy, jejichž platnost pak následně formou dotazníkového šetření ověřovala u stanovené cílové skupiny strážníků a občanů města Rožnova pod Radhoštěm. V závěru uvedla, že více než polovina občanů je přesvědčena o tom, že strážníci obecní policie v uvedeném městě cíleně působí na zajišťování veřejného pořádku a více než polovina občanů je informována o tom, co práce strážníků obnáší.

Abstract:

In this thesis, the author tried to find out how the citizens of the town of perceived usefulness of the work of the municipal police officers. In the theoretical part of the space devoted to the characteristics of the local police, described the responsibilities and authority of the municipal police officers and focused on preventive action and thus ensuring security and public order in a particular city. It set a hypothesis whose validity subsequently verified through a questionnaire survey among the defined target group officers and citizens of the town of. In conclusion, stated that more than half of citizens believe that the municipal police officers in that city targets the public order, and more than half of the citizens are informed about what the job entails constables.
