V této diplomové práci je mým úkolem představit Margaret Thatcherovou jako bojovnici proti odborům. Podstatou její vlády byla revize sociálního státu, který měl ve Velké Británii dlouhou tradici. Vývoj státu blahobytu si prošel řadou etap, které budou v této práci rozebrány. Thatcherová bojovala mimo jiné také se znárodněným průmyslem, který vyřešila privatizací. Abstract:
In this thesis, my task is to present Margaret Thatcher as a fighter against unions. The essence of the government was revising the welfare state, which had a long tradition in the UK. The development of the welfare state went through a number of phases, which will be discussed in this paper.
