The bachelor thesis focuses on the cultural and historical background of the second half of the 20th century in the United States of America ? mainly the 1960´s and 1970´s, when LSD and other psychedelic drugs became extremely popular among American youth. Bakalářská práce se zaměří na 60. a 70. léta 20. století, kdy celá řada Američanů experimentovala s drogami. V úvodu práce autor stručně představí kulturu a společnost dané doby a popíše původ a důvody popularity psychedelických látek. Cílem práce bude vysledovat, jakou roli sehrál při propagaci těchto látek americký psycholog a spisovatel Timothy Leary.
