Post-intensive care syndrome - therapeutic options from the view of physiotherapist

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je syndrom post-intenzivní péče a možnosti jeho ovlivnění pohledem fyzioterapeuta. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmem Post-intensive care syndrome, jeho patofyziologii, prevencí jeho vzniku a je zpracována jako literární rešerše z převážně zahraničních zdrojů. Dále jsou popsány možnosti fyzioterapie, jak v hospitalizační, tak ambulantní fázi onemocnění. Praktická část, ve formě kazuistiky jednoho pacienta, využívá získaných terapeutických vědomostí. Cílem práce je navrhnout rehabilitační plán pro pacienta po prodělaném kritickém onemocnění, jeho realizace a zhodnocení efektu terapie.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis discusses Post-intensive care syndrome and its therapeutic options from the point of view of a physiotherapist. The theoretical part deals with the term of Post-intensive care syndrome, its pathophysiology, its prevention and it is done as a literary research from mainly foreign sources. Furthermore there are described therapeutic options in the inpatient and outpatient phases of the disease. The practical part, in the form of a case report of one patient, uses the acquired therapeutic knowledge. The goal of the thesis is to propose the rehabilitation plan for the patient after a critical illness, its implementation and evaluation of the therapy effect.
