History and the present of Customs administration in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce podává ucelený pohled na vývoj celnictví na území našeho státu, při respektování historických skutečností mající souvislost s tímto důležitým oborem lidského konání. Teoretická část bakalářské práce obsahuje vysvětlení základních pojmů a zabývá se podrobněji každou z významných skutečností zasahující do této oblasti. Jejím cílem je nejen budoucí využití jako metodické pomůcky, ale lze ji chápat i jako osvětu směrem k laické veřejnosti, jíž přibližuje nejen tradice tohoto odvětví, ale i úkoly a nové formy činností, které tento bezpečnostní sbor vykonává v době současné. V praktické části jsou shrnuty výsledky průzkumu, který byl proveden na náhodně vybraném vzorku respondentů. Cílem tohoto průzkumu je nejen zjistit základní znalosti občanů o Celní správě České republiky, ale také jejich názor na vnímání státní správy jako celku. Výsledky práce mohou být využity ke zlepšení mediální komunikace jednotlivých tiskových mluvčí Celní správy směrem k veřejnosti a zároveň mohou posloužit jako vodítko konkrétním projektům zaměřeným na tuto problematiku.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis gives an overview of the evolution of customs on our national territory, respecting historical events regarding this important aspect of human behavior. Theoretical part of the thesis contains the explanations of the fundaments and engages in detailed description of substantial aspects of this area. The aim of the thesis is not only usage as methodical instrument, but we can also understand it as a tool for enlightenment of the general public, which introduces not only the traditions of this sector, but also duties and new ways of operations, which is used by this security unit in the present day. The practical part includes the results of research, which was performed by asking randomly chosen respondents. The aim of the research was to map out the basic knowledge of citizens of the customs of Czech republic, and also take their perception of national customs as a whole. The results may be used to improve the medial communication of individual press agents of the customs towards the public and also serve as a tool for projects concerning this area.
