Management leadership styles and their application in the company

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou manažerské styly vedení a jejich uplatnění v podniku SWISS - FORM a.s. v Nové Roli. Cílem práce je vyhodnotit manažerské styly vedení, které jsou uplatňovány v podniku. Na základě získaných poznatků jsou doporučena opatření, které povedou ke zlepšení delegování. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do šesti kapitol. První kapitola definuje pojem management, druhá kapitola definuje pojem leadership a udává rozdíly mezi těmito pojmy. Třetí kapitola obsahuje teorie vedení a vymezení jednotlivých stylů vedení. Čtvrtá kapitola představuje vybraný podnik. Kapitola pátá obsahuje vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření a strukturovaných rozhovorů spolu s vyvozením závěrů a určením manažerských stylů vedení. Z výsledků analýzy bylo zjištěno, že nastala neshoda uplatňovaného stylu vedení pouze u jednoho vedoucího pracovníka na rozdíl od odpovědí podřízených pracovníků. V šesté kapitole jsou představena navrhovaná opatření, a to konkrétně v oblasti delegování.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the management leadership styles and their application in the company SWISS - FORM a.s. in Nová Role. The aim is to evaluate the management styles which are applied in this company and recommend measures that lead to an improvement of delegation based on the acquired knowledge. Bachelor thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter defines the term "management" whereas the second chapter clarifies the term "leadership". The differences between those terms are provided as well. The third chapter contains some theories of leadership and defines individual leadership styles. Chapter four introduces the chosen company. The fifth chapter contains evaluation of the questionnaire survey and the structured interviews, derives conclusions and determines management styles used in the company. The results of the analysis show there was a differency in the applied management style of only one manager, in contrast to the responses of subordinates. The thesis is concluded with the sixth chapter, where proposed measures are introduced, especially those in the field of delegation.
