Management and coordination of volunteerism in low-threshold facilities for children and youth

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je vymezit a popsat možnosti řízení a koordinace dobrovolnictví v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež. Práce se zabývá charakteristikou dobrovolnictví, jeho historickým vývojem a soudobým společenským nahlížením na tento fenomén. Těžiště práce je směřováno do oblasti managementu dobrovolnictví, v rámci něhož jsou popsány jednotlivé personálně-manažerské činnosti při práci s dobrovolníky v organizaci. Tyto poznatky byly využity pro sestavení podob jednotlivých dobrovolnických programů, které fungují v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež na území okresu Nový Jičín. Problematice dané sociální služby byla věnována samostatná kapitola.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to define and describe the possibilities of management and coordination of volunteering in low-threshold facilities for children and youth. This work dealing with characteristics of volunteering, its historical development and contemporary community viewing this phenomenon. The focus of the work is directed into the management of volunteering within which describes the various HR management activities how working with volunteers in the organization. These findings were used to build various forms of voluntary programs that operate in low-threshold facilities for children and youth in the district Novy Jicin. The issue of social service has been discussed in a separate chapter.
