Effect of "30 % tax deduction"

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou financování a zdaňování nestátních neziskových organizací v České republice s popisem několika nejpoužívanějších způsobů financování. Především je zaměřena na uplatňování zvláštního odpočtu od základu daně z příjmů právnických osob, který je určený pro neziskové organizace. Cílem práce je pak analyzovat vliv odpočtu na vybranou organizaci ve srovnání s vlivem přidělené dotace. Protože pravidelně jsou nejpoužívanějším zdrojem financování neziskových organizací právě dotace z veřejných rozpočtů. Odpočet však také zajišťuje organizacím určitou finanční úsporu, v porovnání s dotací bývá ale nepatrná, a tak odpočet pro větší organizace není rozhodující pro jejich chod. Dále je zde pak zkoumána situace, kdy by celý zisk z hlavní činnosti nebyl zdaňován s porovnáním několika metod, které by to zajistily s výsledkem, že analyzované organizaci by se tento režim vyplatil pouze v určitých situacích a správce daně by musel posílit kontrolu neziskových subjektů.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on finance and taxation of non-governmental non-profit organisations in Czech Republic with description of some most-used methods of financing. Main emphasis is being placed on use of special tax deduction on income tax for non-profit organisations. The goal of the thesis is to analyse influence of the tax-deduction in comparison with the operating subsidy in chosen organisation. The tax-deduction secure some financial savings, but they are small in comparison with the subsidy. With that being said, the tax-deduction is not crucial for operation of larger organisations. Then the situation, when all profits from main activity won’t be taxed at all is examined. The result of it is that this will be helpful for analysed organisation only in certain situations and the tax administrator would have to increase the level of control.
