Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit vliv a přínos konkurence pro cestujícího a pro společnost na trhu osobní železniční přepravy. Práce se nejprve věnuje obecné charakteristice dopravy a dále se zaměřuje konkrétněji na osobní železniční přepravu.
