Suburbanisation processes in Benešov and Nymburk region

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rezidenční suburbanizací ve vybraných lokalitách benešovského a nymburského regionu. Suburbanizace se začala v České republice projevovat ve druhé polovině 90. let 20. století a je typická především výstavbou nízkopodlažních rodinných domů v blízkosti stávajících sídel. Práce hodnotí vývoj tohoto procesu ve sledovaném období v letech 1998 ? 2008. Práce zkoumá suburbanizaci ze socioekonomického, především demografického hlediska. Na základě terénního a dotazníkového šetření je v práci hodnocen vývoj suburbanizace ve vybraných lokalitách (Benešovsko ? Benešov, Bystřice u Benešova, Mrač a Pyšely; Nymbursko ? Nymburk, Milovice a Hořátev) a její vliv na socioekonomické prvky, hlavně na strukturu obyvatel daných lokalit ? pohlaví, věk, vzdělání, sociální pozice, velikost domácností, služby a doprava. Analýzou těchto znaků se také snaží hodnotit rozdíl v suburbanizaci v jednotlivých lokalitách i regionech.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with residential suburbanization in chosen localities in Benešov and Nymburk region. The process of suburbanization has started in the second half of the 1990?s and it is typical for its construction of low-rise single family units that surround the existing structures on the city core. The thesis accesses the development of suburbanization process throughout year 1998 ? 2008. The thesis studies socioeconomic characteristics of the process, primarily from the demographic point of view. The development of suburbanization in the chosen localities (Benešov region ? Benešov, Bystřice u Benešova, Mrač and Pyšely; Nymburk region ? Nymburk, Milovice and Hořátev) is examined on the basis of the cross-country and questionnaire researches. It deals with the influence of the process in the socioeconomic perspective, it mainly deals with the structure of the local inhabitants ? sex, age, level of education, social position, size of the household, welfare service and transport. The thesis also deals with the difference of suburbanization in the both regions through analysis of mentioned characters.
