Analysis and proposal of improvement of costing in a specific company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem tvorby kalkulace a jejím sestavením v konkrétním podniku. Zaobírá se odlišením chápání nákladů v rámci finančního a manažerského účetnictví jakožto i odlišnostmi mezi oběma účetními subsystémy.V první části práce jsou definovány základní pojmy. V dalších sekcích teoretické části jsou rozebírána obecná východiska při tvorbě kalkulace, mimo jiné jsou také zmíněny výhody a nevýhody různých členění nákladů, popř. jejich kombinace.Vedle toho se teoretická část dotýká i tvorby předem stanovených nákladů a výnosů, sledování a alokace nákladů jako součásti procesu tvorby kalkulace a systémem odchylek skutečně vynaložených nákladů a získaných výnosů od standardních veličin.V praktické části práce je uveden popis zvoleného podniku a jeho základní specifika. Je analyzována jeho organizační a ekonomická struktura a obsah interní směrnice s metodickým řešenímkalkulace. Pozornost je věnována analýze užívaných skupin nákladů finančního účetnictví, analytickému členění účtů a procesu alokace nákladů na střediska analyzované divize a následně kalkulační jednice.V závěru práce jsou uvedeny návrhy na zlepšení, ve kterých je nastíněno řešení problémů stanovených v úvodu práce a celkové zhodnocení průběhu tohoto projektu.Klíčová slova: Manažerské účetnictví, kalkulace, sestavení kalkulace, controlling, alokace nákladů

Abstract:

The Master thesis deals with the creating of costing and a suitable cost formula in a specific company. It deals with differentiation of the understanding of costs in financial and management accounting as well as differences between these accounting subsystems.In the first part are defined basic terms. In the next sections of the theoretical part are discussed the general points of the creation of the cost formula and among other things are mentioned advantages and disadvantages of different cost classifications or their combinations.In addition, the theoretical part deals with the creation of planned costs and revenues, monitoring and allocation of costs as part of the calculation process and the system of deviations ofactually spent costs and earned revenues against standard values.The analyzed company is described in the practical part of the thesis. Organization and economic structure and the content of an internal directive with a costing formula is analyzed. Attention is paid to the analysis of financial accounting costs, analytical breakdown of accounts and processes of cost allocation to centers and cost units.In conclusion are suggestions for improvement which outlines the solutions to the problems set out in the introduction and overall evaluation of the course of this project.
