Educational styles in contemporary families with children fulfilling compulsory schooling

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá styly výchovy rodičovství v rodinách s dětmi navštěvující základní školu. Teoretická část se věnuje rodině, kde je vysvětlena její charakteristika, funkce a typy. Nadále se teorie zabývá samotným rodičovstvím a vývojem osobnosti od narození až po adolescenci. Jádrem teorie je zaměřenost na výchovu, respektive její činitele, styly a také součástí je motivace ve formě odměň a trestu jako výchovného prostředku výchovy. Praktická část zjišťuje, jaký pohled na výchovu mají současní rodiče, respektive, jaký oni mají vztah se svým dítětem/dětmi a jak si myslí, že své dítě/děti vedou. Bakalářská práce je zpracována kvantitativně, metodou dotazování prostřednictvím vlastně vytvořeného dotazníku. Respondenti tvoří současní rodiče, alespoň jednoho dítěte navštěvující základní školu. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký v dnešní době převažuje výchovný styl (autoritářský, demokratický, liberální).

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the styles of parenting in families with children attending primary school. The theoretical part is devoted to the family, where its characteristics, functions and types are explained. The theory continues to deal with parenting itself and personality development from birth to adolescence. The core of the theory is the focus on education, respectively its agents, styles, and also part of it is motivation in the form of reward and punishment as an educational means of education. The practical part finds out what view of the upbringing the current parents have, respectively, what they relate to their child(ren) and how they think they are leading their child(ren). The bachelor thesis is processed quantitatively, by the method of questioning through an actually created questionnaire. Respondents are current parents, at least one child attending primary school. The aim of the thesis is to find out what educational style prevails nowadays (authoritarian, democratic, liberal).
