Renaissance Philosophy of Man and Elizabethan Drama
Abstract:
Diplomová práce pojednává kopmaraci děl renesančních filosofů N. Machiavelliho a M. de Montaigne s dílem alžbětinského dramatika W. Shakespeara. Účelem této komparace je nalezení konkrétních paralel či inspirací, které se v dílech reflektují. Ve stručnosti bylo nastíněno vymezení renesance a vysvětlení základních pojmů, stějně jako přiblížení historického kontextu se zřetelem na alžbětinské drama.
Abstract:
The theme of the diploma thesis is Renaissance philosophy of Man and Elizabethan drama. Because of the reguired processing it was needed to concentrate on more specific theme, in this case how the ideas of Montaigne and Machiavelli are reflected in some dramas of Shakespeare. According to this theme it was useful to mention the historical background as well. The two last capters deal with the reflection …more
