Diplomová práce se zabývá minimální mzdou na trhu práce, a to jak v České republice, tak i v členských zemích EU. Teoretická východiska práce mapují ekonomické a sociální souvislosti vzniku minimální mzdy v obecné rovině, její postavení v soustavě minimálních veličin. The thesis deals with the minimum wage in the Czech labor market as well as in other EU member countries. The theoretical data maps the economical and social context of the origin of a minimum wage on a general level, and its position in the system of minimum quantities.
