Financial Markets and Passive Investment

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Finanční trhy a pasivní investice “ je analýza produktů pasivního investování. Z nichž je vybrán konkrétní produkt pasivního investování, a ten je použit při investičním modelu finanční přípravy na důchod. V teoretické části charakterizuji pojmy investování, aktivní investování, pasivní investování a vzájemně je srovnávám. Následně vybírám vhodný index pro investici dle jeho vypovídajících schopností a kritérií dobrého indexu. Ve třetí kapitole teoreticky charakterizuji jednotlivé produkty pasivního investování a porovnávám je. Ve čtvrté kapitole srovnávám konkrétní nástroje pasivního investování, jejichž podkladovým indexem je S&P 500 a vybírám nejvhodnější z nich pro modelovou situaci. V investiční modelové situaci definuji předpoklady, finanční potřebu domácnosti, vypočítám průměrný, reálný, ex post výnos indexu S&P 500 a následně vytvořím investiční model s cílem zajistit důstojné stáří se započítáním transakčních nákladů, tracking error a expense ratio. aktivní investování, pasivní investování a vzájemně je srovnávám. Abstract:

The subject of the thesis "Financial Markets and Passive Investment" is an analysis of products of passive investment. Specific product of passive investment is chosen and used in the investment model of financial preparation for retirement. The theoretical part describes the concepts of investing, active investing, passive investing and compares them together. Then I choose a suitable index for investment according to their informative values and criteria of satisfactory index. In the third chapter, I theoretically characterize individual passive investment products and compare them together. In the fourth chapter I compare specific tools of passive investments whose underlying index is S&P 500 and I choose the best one for the model situation. The investment model situation defines preconditions, financial needs of home, calculate the average real return for the S&P 500, and then creates an investment model to ensure a dignified old age by calculating transaction costs, tracking error and expense ratio.
