Geometrický plán je nástroj, kterým se vymezuje část zemského povrchu jako předmět (objekt) právního vztahu, popřípadě část zemského povrchu, která slouží nebo má sloužit k jinému účelu užívání než části okolní. A plat map is an instrument, which defines the part of the earth's surface as the object of legal relationship. It also can be used for definition of such a part of the earth’s surface, which is used or intended to be used for any purpose other than use of the surrounding.
