Desing of Marketing Stategies in a Commercial Bank

Abstract:

VASIČÁKOVÁ, Jana: Design of marketing strategies in a commercial bank. [Bachelor thesis]. Banking Institute University of Prague, Foreign University Banska Bystrica. Department of Finance, Accounting and insurance. Thesis supervisor: Ing. Zdenka Musová, PhD. Year of defense: 2013.Number of pages: 56 Bachelor thesis explores the design and implementation of marketing strategies in terms of a particular commercial bank. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to theoretical aspects of the chosen topic, defining the terms under Bank Act, the Bank's structure and marketing strategy. The second chapter introduces the Tatra banka, as its organizational structure and client segmentation, using SWOT analysis and marketing mix analysis is then drawn weaknesses banks. The third chapter contains the proposed recommended strategy for implementation, which could contribute to the development and expansion of product offerings and cater to another group of customers who are children 6-15 years.

Katedra účtovníctva, bankovníctva a poisťovníctva. Vedúca práce: Ing. Zdenka Musová, PhD. Rok obhajoby: 2013. Počet strán: 56. Bakalárska práca skúma proces navrhovania a implementácie marketingovej stratégie v podmienkach konkrétnej komerčnej banky. Práca je rozdelená na 3 kapitoly. Prvá kapitola sa venuje teoretickým aspektom zvolenej problematiky, definovaniu pojmov banky podľa zákona, organizačnej štruktúre bank a marketingovej stratégii. V druhej kapitole je predstavená Tatra banka, akciová spoločnosť jej organizačná štruktúra a segmentácia klientov, pomocou SWOT analýzy a marketingového mixu je následne vypracovaný rozbor slabých stránok banky. Tretia kapitola obsahuje navrhovanú odporúčanú stratégiu na implementáciu, ktorá by mohla prispieť k rozvoju a k rozšíreniu ponuky produktov a uspokojiť tak ďalšiu skupinu zákazníkov, ktorou sú deti od 6 do 15 rokov.
