Abstract:
Mnohočetný myelom je druhé nejčastější hematoonkologické onemocnění starších lidí. Onemocnění je charakterizováno přítomností maligně transformovaných plazmatických buněk v kostní dřeni. Prognóza tohoto onemocnění je spojena s množstvím cirkulujících plazmatických buněk v periferní krvi. Multiple myeloma is the second most common hematologic malignancy in older adults. The disease is characterized by the presence of malignantly transformed plasma cells in the bone marrow. Prognosis of this disease is associated with the amount of circulating plasma cells in peripheral blood.
