The needs of the patient with oncological illness of breast

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá potřebami pacientky s onkologickým onemocněním prsu. Cílem práce bylo popsat bio-psycho-sociální a spirituální potřeby pacientky s onkologickým onemocněním prsu a na základě zjištění určit, zda došlo v procesu onemocnění ke změně potřeb. Zvolenou metodikou je výzkumná kazuistika, která je členěna do tří období. Počáteční období, období sdělení diagnózy a současný stav. První část teoretické práce se týká lidských potřeb obecně. Druhá část se věnuje problematice onkologického onemocnění prsu a třetí část se zaměřuje na potřeby pacientů s onkologickým onemocněním, přičemž jsou zde zahrnuty i specifické potřeby žen s onkologickým onemocněním prsu. Praktická část obsahuje dvě případové studie. První kazuistika popisuje potřeby pacientky v paliativní fázi léčby. Druhá kazuistika popisuje potřeby pacientky, která se nachází ve fázi relapsu onemocnění. Získané informace byly zpracovány a porovnány s daty odborné literatury zabývající se stejnou problematikou. Výsledky ukazují na změnu bio-psycho-sociálních a spirituálních potřeb pacientek v průběhu onemocnění. Obě kazuistiky svědčí o ústupu seberealizační potřeby, která je nahrazena potřebou sounáležitosti a lásky společně s potřebou podpory, porozumění a empatie. V důsledku fyzických omezení vyvstává v popředí i potřeba zachovat si autonomii v co největší možné míře. Potřeby bezpečí a jistoty byly umocněny a obohaceny o potřebu důvěry ve zdravotnický personál. Ve spirituálních potřebách převládá potřeba naděje a víry v uzdravení. Smyslem této práce bylo upozornit na jedinečnost lidské bytosti a na specifickou změnu potřeb v závislosti na určitém onemocnění.

Abstract:

The bachelor?s thesis deals with needs of the patients with oncology breast disease. The aim of the thesis was described bio-psycho-social and spiritual needs of the patients with oncology breast disease and on the basis the survey to define, if the needs change in a disease process. Elected methodology is research case interpretation, which is divided in three periods. Initial period, period of notification diagnosis and present state. First part of the theoretical work concerns on human needs in general. Second part dedicates problems of oncology breast disease and the third part concentrates on needs the patients with oncology diseases, where are included also specific needs women with oncology breast diseases. Practical part contains two case studies. The first case interpretation describes the needs of patient in palliative phase medical treatment. Second case interpretation describes the needs of patient, who is situated in the phase relapse disease. The obtained information were processed and compared with data of specialized literature deal with the same problems. The results show the change of bio-psycho-social and spiritual needs of the patient in the course of time of illness. Both case interpretations indicates retreat of self-realization need, which is substituted with need sense of belonging and love together with assistance need understanding and empathy. Due to a result of physical restrictions comes out to the fore the need to keep the autonomy in the biggest possible rate. The needs of security and assurance was intensified and enriched of trusts need in medical staff. In spiritual needs prevails the need of hope and belief in recovery. The purpose of this work was to point out the uniqueness of human being and specific change the needs in addiction on definite disease.
