Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na společenskou odpovědnost v prostředí českého bankovnictví. Cílem práce je rozdělit CSR aktivity vybrané banky podle triple bottom line, vyhodnotit společenskou odpovědnost UniCredit banky pomocí SWOT analýzy a na základě vypracování této analýzy navrhnout doporučení na zlepšení. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena na čtyři kapitoly. První se věnuje historii společenské odpovědnosti, přínosům a kritice, druhá přibližuje základní teorie společenské odpovědnosti jako je Carrollova definice, triple bottom line, stakeholder teorie nebo problematika ESG. Třetí kapitola popisuje několik standardů a norem v oblasti udržitelnosti a poslední čtvrtá přibližuje CSR v bankovnictví ve světě i v České republice. Praktická část práce se detailně věnuje společenské odpovědnosti v UniCredit bance. Pátá kapitola popisuje společnost UniCredit Bank a mezinárodní skupinu, které je součástí. Šestá kapitola obsahuje popis CSR strategie, ocenění a komunikaci společenské odpovědnosti a především rozdělení CSR aktivit banky podle triple bottom line. V poslední sedmé kapitole je vypracovaná SWOT analýza a detailně popsané jednotlivé body této analýzy. Poslední podkapitola obsahuje popsaná doporučení na zlepšení vypracovaná na základě SWOT analýzy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on corporate social responsibility in the Czech banking environment. The aim of the thesis is to classify the CSR activities of the selected bank according to the triple bottom line, to evaluate the social responsibility of UniCredit Bank by means of a SWOT analysis and to propose recommendations for improvement based on the analysis. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one deals with the history of CSR, benefits and criticisms, the second one introduces the basic theories of CSR such as Carroll's definition, triple bottom line and stakeholder theory. The third chapter describes several standards and norms in the field of sustainability, and the fourth chapter introduces CSR in banking in the world and in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis deals in detail with CSR in UniCredit Bank. The fifth chapter describes UniCredit Bank and the international group to which it belongs. The sixth chapter contains a description of the CSR strategy, awards and communication of social responsibility and especially the distribution of the bank's CSR activities according to the triple bottom line. In the seventh and final chapter, a SWOT analysis is developed and the various points of this analysis are described in detail. The last subchapter contains the described recommendations for improvement developed on the basis of the SWOT analysis.
