Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou Age managementu, jež lze s odkazem na aktuální výzkumy a práce autorů zabývající se daným tématem, označit za fenomén se kterým budou konfrontovány všechny podniky bez ohledu na obor jejich činnosti. Age management úzce souvisí s pracovními schopnostmi zaměstnanců a snahou o jejich udržení ve vyšším věku. V návaznosti na snahu zpracovat dané téma v rámci diplomové práce byla oslovena státní organizace Správa železniční dopravní cesty (SŽDC), která mimo jiné v současné době začíná problematice Age managementu věnovat pozornost. Hlavní snahou je v rámci diplomové práce vypracovat teoretické pojednání o problematice Age managementu, následně provést analýzu současného stavu přístupu k Age managementu v podmínkách SŽDC. Na základně výsledků analýzy pak budou stanoveny návrhy opatření k implementaci Age managementu. Vybraná opatření budou následně postoupena zhodnocení.

Abstract:

This thesis takes on the issue of Age management, which can be - based on current research - considered a phenomenon that most companies will soon have to consider and confront regardless of their business direction. Age management is closely linked with the employees' ability to carry out their professional duties as well as with the employers' willingness to keep them employed throughout their higher age. The SŽDC has been contacted in order to gain the necessary data for this thesis with the knowledge that awareness of this issue is on the rise within the organization. It is indeed where the focus in the employment sphere is shifting. The target of this thesis is to produce an in-depth theoretical study concerning the issue of Age management based on which an analysis of the current state of the matter within the SŽDC will be carried out followed by a set of suggestions on how to effectively implement the Age management strategy. The selected actions and suggestions will then be passed on for evaluation.
