Vzdělávání seniorů ve fyzioterapii pro zlepšení jejich fyzického a psychického zdraví v rámci regionu Rakovník

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce vznikla s cílem podpořit soběstačnost seniorů, jejich zájem o své zdraví a ochotu se i v seniorském věku vzdělávat. Klade si za cíl dát návod a podnět k tomu, jak zlepšovat jejich fyzické a psychické zdraví a přispívat tak ke kvalitě jejich života. Autorka práce realizovala od roku 2021 pro klienty Domova seniorů v Novém Strašecí a pro Svaz zdravotně znevýhodněných v Rakovníku fyzioterapeutické cvičební programy a vzdělávací semináře zaměřené na vytváření fyzioterapeutických plánů pro seniory. Následně provedla mezi účastníky těchto programů a seminářů výzkumné šetření zaměřené na vzdělávací potřeby osob v seniorském věku (vzdělání a sebevzdělání) v oblasti fyzioterapie. Toto výzkumné šetření zaměřila na ověření čtyř hypotéz, týkající se vlivu vzdělávání ve fyzioterapii na fyzické a psychické zdraví osob v seniorském věku. Jedná se o následující hypotézy: První hypotézou lze předpokládat, že senioři budou po absolvování semináře méně závislí na pomoci druhých osob. Ve druhé hypotéze se předpokládá, že se budou více zajímat o své zdraví a díky tomu se zlepší jejich kvalita života. Třetí hypotéza se zabývá zájmovými aktivitami seniorů a podporou jejich rodiny a následné větší spokojenosti. Čtvrtá hypotéza by nám mohla napovědět, zda budou po absolvování semináře pod vedením odborné lektorky lépe zvládat fyzioterapeutické úkony.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis was created with an aim to support the self-sufficiency of senior citizens, the interest in their own health and the willingness to educate themselves even at the senior age. It aims to provide guidance and initiative to improve their physical and mental health and thus to contribute to good quality of their lives. Since 2021, the authoress of this thesis has implemented physiotherapy exercise programs and educational seminars focused on creating physiotherapy plans for the elderly in Senior Home in Nové Strašecí and in The Union of the Disabled in Rakovník and their clients. Further on, she carried out research focused on educational needs in the field of physiotherapy (education and self-education) of elderly persons among the participants of these programs and seminars. She targeted this research on validating four hypotheses regarding the influence of education on physical and mental health of senior citizens. The hypotheses are: In the first one, it is possible to assume that the elderly will be, after having completed the seminar, less dependent on other people´s help. In the second hypothesis, it is presumed that they will be more interested in their health and thanks to that, the quality of their life will improve. The third hypothesis deals with the seniors´ leisure time activities, their families´ support and subsequently, their better contentment. The fourth hypothesis could tell us whether after completing the seminar and/with their professional lecturer´s guidance, the seniors will be able to cope with physiotherapy tasks in a better way.
