Trading and new trends on the foreign exchange market

Abstract:

The role of foreign exchange markets is to enable a contact between buyers and sellers of various foreign currencies. It is mostly an unorganized way of trading in the interbank foreign exchange market FOREX, where various types of financial instruments are used. The goal of our diploma thesis is an analysis of financial instruments at trading in the currency market. We explain an environment, in which foreign exchange markets act, individual functions of a foreign exchange market, its participants and structure. Systematically, we analyze various external forms of existence of foreign currencies, exchange rate and its quotes, exchange rate systems and individual types of foreign exchange transactions. We pay attention to analysis used by investors at trading in foreign exchange market, namely psychological, fundamental, and technical analysis. Specifically, we elaborate on a use of fundamental analysis and proper analysis of the fundamental indicators, and successfully predict a development of exchange rate for appreciation of an investment in interbank foreign exchange market FOREX.

Abstract:

Úlohou devízových trhov je umožniť kontakt medzi kupujúcimi a predávajúcimi jednotlivých zahraničných mien. Väčšinou ide o neorganizovaný spôsob obchodovania na medzibankovom devízovom trhu FOREX, kde sa používajú rozličné druhy finančných nástrojov. Cieľom našej diplomovej práce je analýza finančných nástrojov pri obchodovaní na devízovom trhu. Objasňujeme v nej prostredie fungovania devízových trhov, jednotlivé funkcie devízového trhu, účastníkov a štruktúru devízového trhu. Postupne analyzujeme jednotlivé vonkajšie formy existencie zahraničných mien, devízový kurz a jeho kotácie, systémy devízového kurzu a jednotlivé druhy devízových obchodov. Pozornosť venujeme analýzam, ktoré investori využívajú pri obchodovaní na devízovom trhu, a to psychologickej, fundamentálnej a technickej analýze. Konkrétne sa venujeme využitiu fundamentálnej analýzy a správnou analýzou fundamentálnych ukazovateľov, úspešne predikujeme vývoj menového kurzu na zhodnotenie investície na medzibankovom devízovom trhu FOREX.
