Práce se na základě terénního výzkumu zabývá stavem polygynie v současné kuvajtské společnosti a zároveň se snaží objasnit percepci této instituce Kuvajťany. Based on the field study the work deals with the state of polygyny in contemporary kuwaiti society as well as the perception of such institution by Kuwaitis. The main goal of the work is to evaluate the contemporary practice of polygamous marriages, the fact whether the polygyny is on the decrease and what are the possible reasons for such decrease and the way how are polygyny and related themes viewed …more
