Abstract:
Práce se zabývá problematikou stepu v klasickém hollywoodském integrovaném muzikálu 30.-50. let Freda Astaira a Gene Kellyho. Základ práce tvoří především vlastní textuální analýzy vybraných filmů Freda Astaira a Gene Kellyho období 1930-1955 s detailním zaměřím na filmy Top Hat (1935) a Američan v Paříži (1951). Cílem práce bylo ukázat změny využívání stepu jako výrazového prostředku v muzikálu.
Abstract:
The study I focuses on the changes and developments in work with tap dance in classical Hollywood musicals of 1930-1955. It is divided into two parts in which I analysed Fred Astaire’s Top Hat and Gene Kelly’s An American in Paris using basic genre literature, tap dance theoretical literature, academic articles and other film musicals.
