Tato bakalářská práce obsahuje úvod do problematiky sociální politiky, kterou popisuje skrze pojmosloví a historický vývoj. Současně pojednává o systému sociálního zabezpečení České republiky, především pak o starobních důchodech. Tento systém je zde srovnán se systémem starobních důchodů ve Slovenské republice. This bachelor thesis includes the introduction into the issue of social policy, which is described through terminology and historical development. At the same time it deals about the system of social security of Czech Republic, mainly about the old-age pension.
