Changing attitudes of secondary school students towards learning as a consequence of distance learning from the perspective of teachers and students themselves

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá proměnou přístupu žáků středních škol k učení v důsledku distanční výuky. Cílem této práce je zmapovat proměnu přístupu žáků středních škol k prezenční výuce po období distanční výuky jak z pohledu učitelů, tak samotných žáků. Teoretická část práce se zabývá distančním vzděláváním a výukou v období koronavirové pandemie. Další kapitoly popisují učení, motivaci žáků k učení a pozornost žáků ve výuce. Empirická část práce je realizována pomocí kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumu. Popisuje přístup žáků k učení ve třech časových obdobích: před distanční výukou, během distanční výuky a po ní. Výzkum je zaměřen na proměnu pozornosti, schopnost vyjadřovat myšlenky, ochotu samostudia, pravidelnou přípravu, adaptaci na prezenční výuku a na to jakou formu výuky (online, prezenční) preferují učitelé i žáci.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the change in the approach of high school students to learning as a result of distance learning. The aim of this work is to map the change in the approach of secondary school students to face-to-face teaching after the period of distance learning, both from the point of view of the teachers and the pupils themselves. The theoretical part of the work deals with distance education and teaching during the coronavirus pandemic. Other chapters describe learning, motivation and attention of students in the classroom. The empirical part of the work is conducted using qualitatively oriented research. It describes student's approach to learning in three time periods: before distance learning, during distance learning and after it. The research is focused on changes in attention, communication skills, willingness to self-study, regular preparation, adaptation to face-to-face teaching and what form of teaching (online, face-to-face) teachers and students prefer.
