Diplomová magisterská práce se zabývá tématem vystěhovalectví do Ameriky zobrazeného v českých a britských kramářských písních. Cílem práce je analyzovat vybrané kramářské písně a sledovat, jakým způsobem dochází k uchopení totožného tématu a žánru v kontextu dvou odlišných zemí a kultur. Abstract:
The master’s thesis deals with the theme of emigration to America depicted in Czech a British broadside ballads. The aim of the thesis is to analyse selected broadside ballads and to observe how the same theme and genre is adapted in the context of two different countries and cultures.
