The reflection of the Spanish Civil War in the Czechoslovak press

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce nás uvede do situace ve Španělsku v letech 1931-1936. Konkrétněji se zaměří na vypuknutí Španělské občanské války. Seznámí nás s tím, co předcházelo konfliktu a následně zkoumá jeho vypuknutí. Co bylo účelem tohoto konfliktu? Jaké strany stály proti sobě? Kdo byl generál Franco? Dále se zaměříme na problémy, kterým musela čelit druhá republika. Patřila mezi ně pozemková reforma, sociální poměry a také například otázka autonomních oblastí. Cílem bakalářské práce je objasnit příčiny vypuknutí Španělské občanské války s odkazem na československý tisk.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis brings us to the situation in Spain in the years 1931-1936. More specifically, it focuses on the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. It also introduces us to what preceded the conflict and then examines its outbreak. What was the purpose of this conflict? Which parties stood against each other? Who was General Franco? Next, we will focus on the problems that the Second Republic had to face. These included land reform, social conditions and, for example, the issue of autonomous regions. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to clarify the causes of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War with reference to the Czechoslovak press.
