Personality abnormalities of offenders of sexual offenses committed against children as a problem of helping professions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá osobnostní abnormalitou pachatelů sexuálně motivovaných trestných činů spáchaných na dětech, s důrazem na poruchy sexuální preference. V teoretické části se zaměřujeme na vymezení základních pojmů souvisejících s psychologií osobnosti a delikventním chováním v souvislosti se sexuální problematikou. Na teoretické vymezení problému pak v další části naší diplomové práce navazujeme kvalitativním výzkumem, v jehož rámci jsme využili analýzy dokumentů vybrané skupiny pachatelů. Na základě získaných poznatků následně v praktické části práce zachycujeme určité jevy, charakteristické pro námi zvolenou problematiku, které se vyskytují ve znaleckých posudcích. Dále se pak na základě toho snažíme vysledovat určité rysy poruch osobnosti a možné příčiny delikventního chování a navrhnout vhodnou terapii za účelem úspěšné resocializace.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with personality abnormalities of offenders of sexual crimes committed against children with the emphasis on the disorders of sexual preferences. The theoretical part focuses on the basic definitions related to the psychology of personality and delinquent behavior in relation to sexual matters. Qualitative research within which the analysis of documents of a selected group of offenders was used, follows up to the theoretical definition of the problem. Based on the gained knowledge certain phenomena are captured in the practical part of the thesis. The phenomena are characteristic for chosen issues and they occur in the expert opinions. Further the thesis tries to track certain features of personality disorders and possible causes of delinquent behavior and suggests a suitable therapy for the successful re-socialization.
