Providing of state social support benefits and citizens unemployment

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší dávky státní sociální podpory v České a Slovenské republice, četnost jejich využívání a možné zneužívání. Cílem bylo podrobně rozebrat jednotlivé typy dávek a porovnat je v rámci těchto dvou zemí. Ze srovnání zjistíme, že v České republice je systém podpory jednodušší a přehlednější než na Slovensku. V další části je rozebrána nezaměstnanost v České republice za posledních deset let a vysvětleno, jak sociální dávky souvisí s nezaměstnaností občanů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the benefits of state social support in the Czech and Slovak Republics, the frequency of their use and possible abuse. The goal was to analyze in detail the different types of benefits and compare them within these countries. From the comparison we revealed that the support systém in the Czech Republic is simpler and clearer than in Slovakia. The next section discusses unemployment in the Czech Republic over the past ten years and explains how social benefits are related to the unemployment of citizens.
