Lynch syndrome

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dědičností Lynchova syndromu. Popisovaný syndrom se projevuje poruchou v oblasti genů MLH1, MSH2 a MSH6, které vznikají při transkripci DNA (deoxyribonukleové kyseliny). Poruchy těchto genů představují nestabilitu mikrosatelitů. V teoretické části se práce věnuje popisu onemocnění, etiologii, jednotlivým nádorovým onemocněním, která se k syndromu váží, rozdílům jak u pohlaví, tak dítěte a dospělého jedince. Dále je v práci zahrnuta diagnostika, následná léčba a případná prevence Lynchova syndromu. Zajímavou částí je zmínění Muir-Torreova syndromu, který je s Lynchovým syndromem úzce spjat.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deal with genetic inheritance of Lynch syndrome. Described syndrome take shape with fault of genes MLH1, MSH2 and MSH6, which formed upon transcription of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). The disturbance of this genes introduce an instability of microsatellites. The thesis is devoted to the description of diseases, ethiology individual cancer, which bind to the syndrome, some differences in the both gender, and child and adult. The thesis also includes diagnostics, post-treatment and possible prevention of Lynch syndrome. An interesting part is a mentioned of Muir-Torre syndrome, which is closely related with Lynch syndrome.
