The Role of Nurses in the Care of Hydration and Nutrition in Immobile Patients

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou výživy a hydratace u imobilních pacientů. V teoretické části je popsána malnutrice, příčiny jejího vzniku a diagnostika. Dále v teoretické části popisuji imobilizační syndrom, výživu imobilního pacienta a péči o hydrataci o imobilního pacienta Na teoretickou část navazuje část výzkumná, která byla realizována formou dotazníku, ten vyplnily sestry na interním oddělení a na oddělení dlouhodobě nemocných. Dotazník zjišťoval, jak sestry kontrolují stav hydratace a výživy u imobilních pacientů a jakou formu dalšího vzdělávání zdravotnického personálu v oboru ošetřovatelství by přivítaly a považovaly za vhodnou.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the nutrition and hydratation of patiens. The theoretical part describes malnutrition, the cause of its occurrence and diagnosis. The theoretical section further focuses on work of nutritinal therapy and nutritionaltherapist, drinks and immobilization syndrome, risk factors, complications and prevention. The theoretical part is followed by a research conducted in a form of a questionare. The target group of the questionare were emergency room nurses and long-term patients. Its main aim was to identify the way how nurses monitor hydratation and nutrition of immobile patiens. Also, figuríny out Chat form they would like to be further educated medical start in this area of nursing.
