A disabled child in a foster care.

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je "Dítě se zdravotním postižením v náhradní rodinné péči". Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice zdravotního postižení, jeho etiologii a klasifikaci, roli rodiny v životě dítěte, formám náhradní rodinné péče v České republice, včetně souvisejících změn v legislativě po roce 2013. Praktická část je případová studie dítěte se zdravotním postižením v péči náhradních rodičů. Na podkladě rozhovorů s matkou jsou analyzovány hlavní problémy výchovy tohoto dítěte v náhradní rodině, a to vzájemná adaptace dítěte a členů rodiny, vzdělání dítěte, poruchy chování dítěte během jeho složitého pubertálního období, a také otázka vhodného zaměstnání pro zajištění kvalitní budoucnosti dítěte. V závěrech jsou uvedena pozitiva a negativa této náhradní rodinné péče a hodnocení přínosu této péče pro dítě i náhradní rodinu.

Abstract:

The theme of my thesis is "Disabled child in a foster care". The thesis is consisted of two main parts - a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part is devoted to the questions of disability, its etiology and classification, the role of a family in the children´s life, the forms of the foster family care in the Czech Republic, including the changes in the legislative after 2013. The practical part is a case study of a disabled child, who is living in a foster family. On the basis of interviews with the mother main problems with the upbringing this child are analyzed. There are concerned mainly to interrelations of child and all members of the family (adaptation), the child education, behavior disorders of the child in its complicated adolescent period and the choice of a suitable employment to ensure the happy future for the child. Conclusions contain some positives and negatives of the foster family care and the benefits of this care to the child as well as to the family.
